My thanks goes to RCK as well.
I joined here in 2005 after transferring hundreds of floppies to disk. I started to verify the transfer worked by going through of all of the program features like playing the entire game. I was looking for the best version of Barbarian II from Psygnosis as the other 2 releases I had have various issues. Almost 11.5 years later, I'm still here and still trying to validate all my floppy transfers. Having finished most of the action games, I have 72 titles that are mainly RPGs and adventures games, which unfortunately also the most time consuming. I should finish the remaining games before another 11.5 years, but I still check EAB almost daily. |

We all hung out at Emulation Talk on Network 54 or something, at least a bunch of us did, and then EAB thankfully appeared.
I was sure that Network 54 forum was still around... Found it, oh my god, there are posts even to today haha! Seems like some people kept on using it past 2001. I cannot seem to remember who originally set up that forum, actually! http://www.network54.com/Forum/14279 Also there were the godflesh forums (yeah, remember that guy? He hated me haha) |

WOW! Hahahaha Yeah, I remember Godflesh. Oh my God I found a conversation between us 17 years ago! http://www.network54.com/Forum/14279...lated+to+Amiga Edit: Scavenging old threads, it looks like Bobic was mantaining Emulation Talk, he probably was the one who set it up. Man, it didn't use to be black text on blue with yellow accents. It's making my eyes hurt
I remember it being grey, I even made a forum banner for it once. Yay I found it!: https://web.archive.org/web/20010421...om/Forum/14279 This version has teh original links on top: BTTR, Old Memories and The Dream Zone (remember that? I was so happy when I gained access!) God damn, Dreamzone, where dreams were downloaded! https://web.archive.org/web/20010428...ne/default.htm |

I remember Dreamzone, I remember complaining a download there was very slow on one of those older forums (probably Emu Talk) and Maincore throwing a fit saying he works his ass to mantain the site and that he should just drop everything since people just complain about it being slow.
Dial-up connection, it took me like an hour or something to download an Amiga game in .ADF format. |

Looking through my (admittedly few) posts on here, it would appear I found my way here whilst looking for ways to rip the sprites for Xenon 2 - I was working on a GBA conversion at the time. I still pop in most days to see what's being said, and so I'd like to also add my thanks for RCK and the rest of the EAB team.

If this forum disappeared, I'd probably feel a little empty. It's one of the first pages I open when I open my browser.. I know I feel sad if the site is down for whatever reason.
