I was just browsing the net looking for a copy of a very old C64 game called Monolith [i think] that i remember as being a bit strange and abstract and came in a very strange long box. I remember being freaked and a little 'non plused' by the game and its marketing back when i was a kid.

I remember that one-It came in a long black box.Looking around I think the company was called monolith and the game might have been 'quake minus one'

Yes - Thats the one.
jeeze i was sure it was called monolith. The version I had came with a very strange luminus plastic disk with strange lettering on it - that if i remember right was meant to mean something in game.
I still have the box in storage but the tape died many years ago - I never worked out how to play this game and whenever I saw the box it bugged me i never played it as it should be played. I can t even remember what it was about.
