Is there a patch for this game, that on faster machines, game runs smoother, but not speeding actual game time?

Oh the memories. It was the first game I bought, I actually got it at the same time as I got my A500 and hence the only disc I had except for the WB disks that first magical night with my brand new Amiga. October 1988, don't remember the exact date though. Had just finished my military service, in the Air Force of course, so it was the logical game to buy since I had been into planes since I learned to crawl.

A note though. My game was in a jewel case, with the code wheel and manual. Still have it, lost the disc somehow though.

Ahh the old EA "album" boxes. Back when EA was unquestionably the best game publisher in the industry.

I miss those days, when you could grab any one of those album boxes at random and know you were getting a quality product.

Yeah on one hand, it's great that a name from the past has survived, but on the other hand, it's sad to see "how" they've survived (greedy DLC strategy).

My "go to" back in my Amiga days was "Microprose" (considering I was big in to simulations).

Loved their work.

I loved this game. I used to play it all the time, and occasionally play the sorta-kinda-sequel, Jetfighter II, on my dad's PC.

I even really dug the intro music, possibly this was the very first game I stuck into the Amiga, can't remember we got this, Kick Off and Indy and the Last Crusade (arcade) in the pack.

Spent hours and hours on this. Always used to just love flying around, as well as the missions. Would see how far down the coast of California I could fly. Also used to deliberately run the plane out of fuel and then try a glided landing starting at about 28000 feet (or whatever the maximum altitude was).
