I remember the day when we first met at Amiga32, you showed me your game and I could not believe the transparency effect somewhere in there.
Many years have passed since then. Now you are close to the finish line. Congrats! |

@Buzzybee: Thanks, Richie, looking forward to our next meetup and some beers together..
Yesterday when I repaired some stuff on the enemy bullet code (bullets getting blocked by obstacles again, now), I noticed I could make them kill other enemies when they collide. It looks kind of hilarious, but on the other side the physics feel more believable.. I am torn. |

Also, regarding "more believable": normally an enemy wouldn't try to shoot you through his buddies . So you would then have to implent that enemies would stop firing when another enemy is in the firing line. Looking forward to see more of the game . Possible a new WIP movie ? *poke* |

I'd love to see that kind of emergent and randomized stuff in some kind of roguelite shoot'em up.
It's agains traditional shoot'em up design, where everything is usually fixed but could be fun too. I was playing Who Dares Wins 2 (Commando-like) on my Spectrum yesterday and enemy grenades thrown about can kill other enemies too, or blow up your power-up boxes. It makes things much more interesting. |

Naaah, I won't include it. Already commented out again..
And there won't be an Inviyya 2, I think. Too many shooters already around. Next game will be the one with the Barbarian in it. |

I somebody wonders what happened to the game, we are in heavy beta testing phase right now with some people checking out.
But wow, motivation is at an all time low for me at the moment. Once more I noticed that implementing new fancy stuff is amazing, but repairing old shit that doesn't quite work is a painful process. |
