I used to had a mtec030/28, a p5 1260 and now, a dce bppc... I have an Escom 1d4 mobo, but never had any issues with timing... even now with a zorroII busboard+grex all is well... I think there is something else wrong, perhaps the psu is not enough?

I'm installing boingbag 1 and 2 now , maybe it's something buggy with the os..
I had to manually copy the installer from os 3.9 cd..
because the old os 3.1 installer was the one in the C: when uppgrading form 3.1 , why didn't os 3.9 install it over?

and i have updated some old os 3.1 programs to..

=)

Seems lika PowerSnap not working to well on OS 3.9..
Gets "yellow gurus with it"

You won't experience the bus timing fault with an 030 accelerator.

My 030/50 runds fine on the 1d4 revision board. I do have problems with the SCSI addon for that board (works once out of a dozen boots with no scsi devices attached), and think it might be do to board revision.

Too lazy so far to do the board upgrade (and worry about screwing it up, 1200's are not cheap to find in the US).
