I love monochrome graphics. It is such a skill to give things that amount of detail with so little to play with.

Not that I find 16/32 colors any less impressive of course.

My only criticism (if you can call it that) is that the game is basically 3 colours (Black, white & red) where I would have expected 4, due to assuming 2 bitplanes. But i'm confused because the decrunch simulation on some screens results more than 4? (Unless this is copperlist fx?)

I'm not a coder so i'm probably misunderstanding something. Whatever, it's still a fantastic release.

...There's less than a handful of folk on there at this present time complaining of the games difficulty.. They're probably too young to have experienced the real Amiga.

Or the difficulty of earlier platforms (8 bit) for that matter.. I wouldn't pay any attention to them. Haha.

Yeah, "Discount". It's expensive to have to replace computers thrown out of the window you know.

There are two blacks, one for the background colour and one used as an outline to stop things being see through.

Also it actually uses 4 bitplanes in dual playfield for technical reasons.

This looks just fantastic to me. To think what it is - a virtually identical Amiga 500 port of a modern PC indie game - is mindblowing. Thank you h0ffman for making this, and for everything else you've made on the Amiga. Been a fan of your work ever since I've heard the music in Eon, and read your writeup about how it was made.

Do we already know some approximation about the release date?

The preorder site shows April 2024 as a ship date, and I think h0ffman said that the download version will be released at the same time the physical copies of the game start shipping.

I forgot to buy this game and I've just saw that this is sold out...
Does anybody know if they plan to make a second batch?

No digital download ?
That's a pity, but I can understand the author.

So update... hopefully we're in the last cd production test run. First one uncovered a nasty bug during nvram saving which looks to be fixed now. Everything else to do with the physical is coming together so it shouldn't be too long now.

As mentioned previously digital will be available once we start shipping. Additional stock should also be coming together once the preorder run is done and we're also looking into European distribution.
