I have a 3com too... it seems on my system it reaches 80-100 kb/sec with amiga explorer....

I reached similar speeds too. Lovely stuff isn't it? Lovely copying HDFs to the PC and straight into winUAE...

I have sold three 3Com cards with dongle for 6 euro each, shipping not included. The CF pcmcia cards I have bought were more expensive. I have got one of 16 Mb and one of 128 Mb, both work on the A1200 just like a harddrive would, but then without the spinning noise. Keep in mind thet if you want to use those cards that you need to install the driver first. You can use it as a harddrive but when you turn on the computer it will not be recognized. When the driver is installed then you can use it, not before. I tried to format it in FFS and install my whole BOOT partition on it, it worked, but after a cold start I had to wait for the driver to be loaded to have access to it ...

@smiley1635 did u get your pcmcia adaptor for use with the compact flash i sent you?
not got myself one yet as i now have a 256mb XD card (for my fuji cam too) and would prefer an adaptor that takes that i havent seen owt on ebay yet!
