How to avoid /home/$user/FS-UAE folder ?

Hi to you all !
I'm trying to change /home/$user/FS-UAE path for my external drive, using base_dir /path/I_want. It works, but fs-uae continue to create /home/$user/FS-UAE folder each time I restart it.
Am I forgetting something ? What am I missing ?
Thanks for your help !

PS : I started using fs-uae with Fedora 18 and it's amazing
(Played Magic Pockets and Populous 2 a few times)

Hi, it isn't really enough to use the base dir option in a .fs-uae config file (or Launcher custom settings), because by then the base directory is already created.

Take a look at http://fs-uae.net/paths, specifically the "Base Directory" section, for a solution

Ah yes ! Thank you FrodeSolheim. That's it.
I've also come across a previous answer mentionned here (strange I did not find it the first time)
Thank you again, for your answer, and this amazing-well-coded-super-stable-nice software.
