Great work.
Do you have a file list as a t-file? What years does this collection span? Any underground hack/phreak compilations in this collection? Thanks |

Good work, I see their are quite a few 'Empt' adfs in the archive. Will take a while to sort them.

For those of you "in the know" are there any particular highlights in icycool's archive? Thanks.

This collection will consist of multiple parts because of its scale.
These are all disks I have collected over the years. Disk cleaning is now done at the time of imaging to save time, but it still remains at about 25% success rate. Random Aussie ADF Archive #02 Part 1 - icycool Total Disks.. 2173 -Bad Disks.. Many -Duplicates Removed.. 186 -TOSEC Removed.. 647 =Total New Disks.. 1340 Percentage of New Disks.. 61.66% Note, there will be some duplicate filenames across all of the parts. Be aware of this. Some files have been reverse renamed, but not checked. |

Maybe 3-4 more unless I have overestimated the extent of my own collection
But certainly 1-2 |

Wow! I'm curious to know exactly how long this actually took?! Kudos to you for not only imagining but cross referencing and trying to fix too!

Each disk takes about 1 minute to image on a stock A1200, however ages ago when I had an accelerator card installed, it was about 45 seconds.
Naturally bad disks take a lot longer, and you have to judge each one on how long you want to spend on it. For instance, the end pile of bad was ~150 disks for this lot, and each of those took well over a minute to establish the success rate of perseverance. |

Is that 1 minute including typing in the new filename of the .adf created?

The program does that automatically, at the end I just cross reference the data with another list to provide probable better filenames for some images.
