A1200 operation test

I have a UK 1200 where I am not sure if it operates properly. If I press two keys at the same time on the same line of keys, no key works.
So if I press m and n nothing types.

But if I press n and a
or
n and q same time it types fine with one of the letter.

Can anyone let me know if this is normal or not? If possible please try yourselves. I would really appreciate as I don’t want to buy a new membrane for nothing.

I'm pretty sure this is normal, at least in my experience.

I'll try later... I know it used to do odd things with key presses on my A600 when it was new!

You can try SysTest to just check all the buttons. The membrane wouldn't cause issues for key combinations.

Thanks for confirming. lesta_smsc I checked and all work ok on their own.

Makes it very bad for playing keyboard games like F1 GP. I cant break and turn on the 1200 (z + < at same time)

Ah that explains why I was so bad at F1 GP lol.

Is this a Commodore Amiga or an Amiga Technologies Amiga? What Kickstart Motherboard??
