How do I play Dragons Breath ? newb question.

What is needed to play Dragons Breath through WinUAE or other emulator ?
I've read the WHDLoad thread and that sounds excellent.
However I'm not sure how that works out and the image file on the site contains only one disk.
Was it possible to condence the whole game into one disk ?

The other problem is that I have no longer any access to the game, it has been 12-13 years since I sold everything.
Is the image file/files available for download, either fee based or free ?

Any help appreciated...

Hi Haplo.

The Dragon's Breath download from the WHDLoad site is only an installer and doesn't include the game itself. The disk image in the archive is blank and is used by the WHDLoad install to save games (as far as I know).

To run Dragon's Breath in WinUAE you need to create a hard disk with Workbench on it, then set up WHDLoad and use the game's WHDLoad installer to install it to hard disk.

I've uploaded a pre-installed WHDLoad archive of Dragon's Breath to the Zone (the Zone can be accessed by going to User CP -> Group Memberships on this forum). You should be able to run this once WinUAE is set up with a hard disk and WHDLoad.

It's also possible to use CAPS IPF images to run the game from floppy disk in WinUAE. Download the CAPS user library for WinUAE here: http://www.caps-project.org/download.shtml . The IPF disk images should also work with the WHDLoad installer.

Wasn't Galahad going to release a working ADF version of this game?

Thanks for the tips, an .adf version would be really great.
Not that $20 is that much for WHD, but I'll see what I'll do.

He was, but he made that dependent on myself registering WHDload (!)
And that, as I'd use it for a maximum of 2 times per half a year (average)!
Some people ...
