Edit: If this is a duplicate, then maybe I'd better remove it. Though "Lightwave 3D - Essentials.mp4" is a much larger (higher quality?) file. Last edited by prowler; 20 February 2013 at 23:04. |

Hi Peter great work to you and all that have helped. I would like to know how I can get AVI's of all the tapes uploaded here. I have tried converting the MP4's to AVI but the quality goes away. I have some tapes you dont have listed. I will try and upload as time permits. Thanks for any help.

Hi amigagenie, some of the videos were sent to me in the MP4 Format to upload so these videos were never in any other format - as too how to convert MP4 to AVI, I'm not sure of the best way as I have always converted my old VHS Tapes straight to DVD and then to AVI. There is conversion software out there but as you say I guess the quality would depreciate during conversion... maybe someone else has some advice?
Looking forward to seeing what Videos you have... :-) |

Not yet. It was first suggested by chocolate_boy: Quote:
I guess if you were to upload some to YouTube, then it wouldn't divert effort away from adding to the collection, so I would say go ahead, and thanks too. |

The youtube videos may help locate missing videos from the increased exposure youtube offers.

"Commodore is awesome" website is currently constructing a web page front end to display these videos in all their glory! I'm very confident that this is going to look really good!
@ DDNI, I agree - and I have no objection to them being uploaded to Youtube - I would be really grateful if anyone uploading them could mention the fact that we are always looking for more videos and maybe mention this EAB thread. |

@ prowler,
prowler, it does seem as if the "Lightwave-Stranahan-Scenes-Motions-Paths" video is the same as "Lightwave 3D Essentials" Can you please remove the "Lightwave-Stranahan-Scenes-Motions-Paths" video and I will update the list. (Thanks Mr.P) |

You may wonder why I'm asking about your videos eh
Well as I'm on holiday for 2 weeks now Peter, I am putting all my time into the new video page that I promised you Many thanks to tomse for coding the page up so quickly. I did start manually making the page but tomse decided to make it easier for me to add the videos a bit quicker. I have added quite a few now already (2 pages so far) and those that didn't have covers I have screen grabbed the title screen from the video. The page is below please note though, it's currently still be worked on, but everything that is on there is available to download. http://awesome.commodore.me/amiga/video-tutorials/ I should hopefully have it finished in the next couple of days. That's awesome! I did take a sneak peak earlier to be honest and thought that this was a work in progress. Many thanks for your great work and dedication over on CIA Kitty - great stuff!
