Vegan Round: No milking (e.g. facehuggers) allowed!

Play on MANIAC difficulty!

Post a picture of your score here with the score written underneath. Enter as often as you like. Only scores achieved during the round's time frame count.

No cheating of any kind (including score leeching) - this includes save states. NO CONTINUES ALLOWED. If you suspect anyone of cheating please let us know in private - anyone found guilty will be banned.

This is the first time I have ever played this, so let's just call it a practice go.

I'm not sure how I lost my last life. At the beginning of level 4 I was near the top of the screen, I jumped up... and game over.

Wolfadawn almost beat the game on Maniac difficulty and takes the lead now. Only 18 hours left for capehorn to strike back.

I'm tempted to have another go, but having watched Lifeschool's playthrough review I can't imagine I will be able to get close to Wolfadawn's score. So unless something miraculous happens in my attempt tomorrow morning, I think we probably have a new and deserving champion.

Deserving indeed. He flew at full speed through a meteor storm, is the first participant to win a real prize here just by playing and fought the Machine on Maniac difficulty:
Wolfadawn is the new Knockout Champion!

SILVER goes to record champion capehorn.
Turrican veteran lifeschool takes the BRONZE medal.
And finally CHOCOLATE for MikeyG.
