I like this approach.

Who can honestly say they weren't influenced (positively) by box cover or cabinet-arcade artwork?

Uh, yes, a lot actually. Sorry for the long gap in update but brutality of life and lots and lots of coding and stuff related absorbs literally every second (well, almost, but I'm sure you guys know how it is; and if it wasn't enough three Amigas died meantime ). I'm thinking in updating the log almost every day and when I see the date of the last entry, how distant it becomes, I feel more and more obliged and stressed at a time. Will do my best ASAP. Thanks for your interest.

A bit OT but i have visited your link at indiegamemusic.com and i wonder if it works so far, since i do video game music in mod/xm/mid and some other format, have been without a job for a while - started some part-time lately - and some extra cash would be handy

I'm sorry but the musician spot is taken, and there is no need for more, but thanks for your offer. Regarding the site this is what the musician himself has said (he asked me to paste it here because he doesn't have an account on EAB):

Quote:
IndieGameMusic.com is a free service that lets you put your tracks on display for indie game developers. You can choose to offer 3 license-types, explained at http://indiegamemusic.com/licenses.php. Then you can offer ready-to-use tracks - and/or you can make yourself available for project work. Selling ready-to-use tracks will only get you pocket money. But many artists has replied back to the creator of the site, that they found someone to work with on a steady basis using the site, and there's potentially more money in that. There are tons of sites like IGM though. The biggest difference between other sites and IGM I suppose is the lower prices + IGM has modules (mod/xm/s3m/it). You can literally search for Amiga MODs on IGM. Select "mod" in filetype, click "More search options", and click "100% Noisetracker / Protracker compatible" in the Tags box.

Looking at how mysteries you make in this game (no screenshot, not real video gameplay) i can think this games is like modern games in graphics and gameplay.
The expectation about this game could be too much than how it is in truth. Maybe better to show at least some screenshots.

Just be careful to not overhype your game. Or the expectations get way to high...

Interested to see what it is, but with no screenshots ,one has to keep things in check, the blog now mentions cpu's like 060/080 , so not holding my breath that this will run on lower end machines that well.

but i suppose it would be nice for something to make use of such cpu's for the ones that have them.

Sorry, I think it's kind of weird to have such an obscure marketing in a scene as small as ours.

Also a game with a complicated 'economy' system that requires an 060 before any graphics is drawn? Sounds a bit odd. But actually the devs aren't even sure what the requirements will be. Even more odd.

Better to wait for updates rather than casting doubt. Incidentally, this scene's expectations are always high, so it makes no difference in trying to quell them.
