Send input to WinUAE even when window is not focused

Do you know if WinUAE can receive joystick input even when the window is not focused ?

(i looked at the options but didn't find anything relevant)

What kind of use case do you have? I'd like to know because there can multiple solutions.

I am launching the emulator from a tool I've created to study a game's internal mechanics, it launches the emulator with a specific configuration and state. The thing is that my tool gets focused whenever I execute some operation in it then WinUAE loses the focus as well as the input.

I've tried something like 'activate window on mouse hovering' from Windows and while it works I always have to do Alt-Tab or middle mouse button to unfocus from WinUAE which gets pretty boring as I have to do that many times per session.

Ok, I'll think about it. At least joystick can be active even when not in focus but it needs option because someone surely will hate if it is global change

Mouse and keyboard without focus shouldn't be needed, I hope...
