Thumbs up Vga Scart Cable Guide for Retrogaming

Hi, I'm Josef from Italy, I have made a complete guide on how to build a Vga to Scart cable for CRT TV; using it you can transform your television in a real arcade monitor, perfect for MAME and other emulators like , of course, Winuae; I have tested it with several games (Alien breed, Agony ecc.) with nice results; to see my guide click http://digilander.libero.it/venturi1975/index.html
here you'll find a specific Winuae/Amiga section with photos and descriptions.
hope this can be interesting for you!
bye

If you are Italian this is a great guide, if you are English, google for a different site rather than put up with Babelfish's lame translations.

Actually the more you read it, the translation is not too bad.

A lot of TV's today come with VGA input so first thing to do is make sure that you do not have a VGA input

And quite right too! IMHO, you can't beat CRT TVs for console monitors.

I must admit its GREAT guide. But I wont use it, too many wires, electron tubes etc. For those who arent afraid it is a superguide. Respect for your skills, welcome.
