USB under FS-UAE?

Hi Frode,

please can you check, if this is usable under FS-UAE too?

And if so, is it possible to use this on Non-Windows-Machines too?

I checked the description of this package, and from a quick glance, it seems:
1) It uses a WinUAE interface for running native code via a plugin system
2) The usb package consists of a USB host plugin which uses the native code interface, and Amiga-side drivers/software which talks to this plugin.

So the short answer is, it won't work in FS-UAE (not even on Windows).

* The native interface / plugin system is not implemented in FS-UAE.
* Even if it was, this would still only work on Windows, as someone would have to have create similar native interface plugins for USB host access for other operating systems :-/

It is probably better to create Amiga side UAE virtual device (like uaehf.device, uaescsi.device and so on) that "wraps" libusb. Much more portable. (I personally hate WinUAE dll API, it is ugly and horrible)

Note that I still don't see any point in this kind of USB support..

Sorry! I forgot the link in the first post... :0(

First: I know, we doesn't need USB support in any UAE. But for testing it will be useful ;0)
