Lightbulb INT-2 modification on Cyberstorm boards?

Hello everyone.

I intend to buy a Cyberstorm MKII @ eBay for my A3000D.
I read about a INT-2 modification (whatever it is?!) which have to be done...
On other sites I read, the modification only has to be done if I want to use the SCSI function...

Since I don't plan to use SCSI (I have a BuddhaIDE card), I have no need for SCSI.

Question: Do I have to make this INT-2 modification anyway to get the card work?

No, the Cyberstorm will "work" fine without any modifications in an A3000

AFAIK the general situation is that the INT2 mod is needed only when a CPU card has anything else than the CPU itself and Fast RAM on it. (The original specs of the CPU slot for the Amiga 3000 supposed that the cards connected to it would be "real" CPU cards, with only the CPU and maybe some memory on them, and any other hardware components - SCSI host adapters, etc. - would be produced as Zorro III cards. That's why the /INT2 line is not connected to the CPU slot connector of the A3000 motherboard.)

So you don't have to hack your A3000's motherboard for the Cyberstorm MKII itself, only for the SCSI module.
