Or you could come back as blade003 with robot arms and other cybernetic implants.

Real bummer to see you go, but I can definitely relate with the need to focus on more important aspects of life. Tis half the reason why I only post on here every month or two now, at best. If I posted on EAB more, then I'd have much less time to contribute to HOL/AMR (which isn't all that much during certain months of the year). To be a teenager again back in the C64/Amiga heydey (and devoid of any real responsibility!) would be magnificent, but alas it can't be so All the best with your real life endeavours.......

It has been said before, Amiga is a drug. You can quit but never leave. Amiga can destroy your life. I need to get out of this mess too!

Have fun IRL.

I have done some forum quits too in my life (temporary ones). It is strangely refreshing, but ultimately it's always up to YOU to do the things that need to be done instead of wasting time on whatever. It's very easy to find another time waster when you get rid of one. :-)

Hey, good luck - nothing wrong with leaving a forum. In fact, lots of internet places can distract from getting things done... Not that you need to de-register, just stop going here? Or visit much less often.

A bit of an oversimplification tho, I know it takes willpower - well it does for me, anyway.

Take care Blade - sorry to see you go. Have fun - and yeah check back sometimes - get someone to reset your password rather than close account!

Take care

I have been dropping in briefly and reading these messages quickly each day (1 minute max) and i would just like to say that what you guys have written means a hell of a lot to me I know this is only a forum but i consider us all to be mates and i honestly didn't know whether i would be missed by 2 people let alone all you guys!!!!!, so this really does come as a pleasant surprise.

I would respond to all individually but that would take a lot of time (which is the reason why i was leaving in first place.. lol) but that does not mean that each one of you don't bring something to the table to me personally on here, so thank you all so very much.

I think that rather than close my account i will opt for an account suspension as some have suggested, perhaps for 6 months and then return after then after all, i have been on here since 2005 so it would be somewhat of a shame to end it completely, but perhaps that time frame will get me where i need to be, back on track and content and content is not what i feel right now.

Talk to you in 6 months my EAB'ers

And NO MORE FIGHTING!!!

AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE! (any Brits who want to comment on the cricket - go to buggery...)

Sad to see an Aussie go and I hope to see you back here sooner rather than later.

Life is short - enjoy what you do, and do what you enjoy mate!

Hey blade, I might take a leaf out of ur book too and give it a break for a while. I agree with you it can be addictive. Best of luck with the RL priorities - I hear ya there.
