Powerplay: The Game Of The Gods problem

Has anyone managed to play a game with the WHDLoad version of Powerplay? I think there is something wrong with it. I recently found that out when I asked CFou to support the Greek version.

Everything (intro screens, player selection etc.) works fine until the game is supposed to start. But when you see the board, instead of gaining control of the pawns they keep cycling and cycling, as if someone is holding the joystick left or right. The normal behaviour is for only one pawn to be jumping until you select it or move to another one, but it keeps moving from pawn to pawn. No matter what control method you chose you cannot take control of your pawns. I tested it both on WinUAE and my Amiga.

You can easily verify that there is something wrong by comparing it to the floppy disk version. I can make a video if needed. CFou said that the English version has been tested so I wonder if anyone ever got it to work. I've played this game for countless of hours, so I assure you that it's not a question of not knowing how it works.

I didn't read the manual so I have no idea how I'm supposed to play the game.
As you can see, the pawn is jumping waiting for me to do something (I guess).

Yeah that's the correct behavior. So I guess this only happens to me. Typical...

OK I think I figured out what was causing it... my bad. More when I verify it.

You chose Joystick 1 as control type ?
