D3D vs OpenGL and probably different shader. Both are correct.

ADDED:

Or you have some display control panel optimization enabled or something. Lots of reasons.

This bug does not make any sense because it goes and comes, even when moving the display, not just when scaling is changed.

Beta 23:

- CDFS: Joliet CDs didn't work and caused crashes. Directory listing worked but it was only possible to open non-existing files
- CDFS: ACTION_DISK_INFO never returned no disk status.
- Filesystem path selection and default RDB settings broke in b22.
- FPU FINTRZ didn't work correctly if input value was outside of signed 32-bit range. (Bug since the beginning?)

Hi Toni,

I tried to adjust my video card, and it didnt worked, albeit the bilinear filtering is now very smooth, which is an excelent thing!

I tried to view one same desktop, one time in PAL and another in DBLPAL and on the latter, the copper backdrop is smooth, while in the PAL screen I can see that each color is shared between the near scanlines!

Does http://www.winuae.net/files/b/winuae.zip fix it?

FINTRZ works great, thank you.

Won't detect the X-Axis of my joypad when customizing controls (when asked for Left, Right. Strangely it does detect it if I press Left/Right when asked for Fire Buttons). Worked on 2.4.1.

Attach winuaebootlog.txt. Do you mean X-axis does nothing or is stuck to left or right?

My Joypad and buttons are already set correctly (when I set them up on 2.4.1). Since updating to the latest beta 23 I thought I'd change my control buttons. This is when I ran into this problem. When I customize the joyad controls and it asks me to press a button for Left or Right, my joypad Left/Right won't register anything, it just stays waiting. If I press the Up/Down or any joypad buttons they register.

As I said, i've already configured it correctly on an earlier version so my bootlog won't tell you anything, I just thought i'd point out a problem.

I saved my joypad controls and all winuae settings in my Gamebase Amiga script file (when I was on 2.4.1).

File Type: txt winuaebootlog.txt (15.3 KB, 138 views)

So it works in games but not in gameports remap screen? That does not make any sense and thats even better reason to see the winuaebootlog.txt
(both from 2.4.1 and latest beta)

Okay I have tried again with the latest beta and updated the logfile above. If it is truncated then I don't know why.

I will check through the beta's now to determine when it started to freeze with my game compiling.

I will also run the latest beta to try and reproduce the mouse issue

edit: Toni with the beta's. The last one that compiled and ran my games was beta5. From 6 onwards emulation freezes (F12 works). I will seperate these posts into the beta thread shortly.

What CPU? Does 68020 work? Without JIT? The usual
(68060 and more compatible checkbox set?)

Checked all different options here and still freezes. I tested with the source that comes with Blitz. I got a couple of simple progs to compile, but anything with GFX freezes.

To clarify 020, 030, 040, 060, Jit on/off for all, more compatible on/off for all.

Selecting 24bit 020 addressing fixes the compiling problem.

Edit: Seems it might be Picasso related causing the crashing

Toni,

I booted up with my configuration that worked in 2.41 in the latest beta, changed screenmode from UAE/Picasso to standard higres-laced and compiling in Blitz2 works.

I posted my bootlog about the joypad config bug above over an hour ago (that you asked for) but it hasn't even been viewed yet so I take it your not that bothered ? Just a reminder that it's there.

Edits don't trigger any notifications, it is easy to miss.

But you didn't really answer any questions.

- Does x-axis movement still work in games? (It shouldn't be possible)
- Does x-axis work if you select built-in pad configuration? (gameports panel), then click "Test".
- What is first non-working beta?

Does ticking/unticking expansions panel RTG vblank interrupt fix it?

Attach also your configuration file, do not modify it because it may be backwards compatibility issue with new config entries.

After saving the original, save the config file inside winuae, quit winuae, start it again and load same configuration, does it work now?

ticking/unticking vblank interrupt fix has no effect.

Config attached and re-saving it has no effect either

Did you fully quit, run winuae again, loaded config file, ticked vblank checkbox and then started emulation? Just confirming because not all options work when changed on the fly, even after reset.
