Stupid Question

Boy this sounds dum

Just got back to this, as I got it all set up and working months ago, but been stuck with other projects.
Using WinUAE, and Sys4, and not touched an Amiga OS for about 15 years

Now as I said, all is running, and I have a drive (DH1) on the desktop with ALL the WHD packs, which load and run fine once I registered it.

Now, I have about 10 games that I want to play at present, and going through all the WHD packs to find them each time will be a right royal pain.
So, (Still thinking windows now), I dragged the folders I wanted to the desktop, and done a "snapshot All", but on restart I have no folders again.

I then thought I would put a draw on the desktop, and dump them in that. But, when on desktop and selecting new draw from the drop down menu, the option is grayed out ???

I remember from my 1.3 days you had to drag the new draw icon I think to the desktop, but boy that all seems a long time ago now, and about 10 PC's back.

I have now thought about making a new windows folder, with just the games I kept handy, and mounting that as DH2, but that seems like using a sledgehammer to brake a nut.

Please put me out of my misery, and tell me what I am missing

Once the Icon you want to keep on the desktop is highlighted, you need to select the "Leave Out" option on the Pull down menu

In your case would make more sense to use GameBase Amiga.
