OS 3.2 - Mount ADF Read/Write
Hi Folks, is it possible to mount an ADF in OS3.2 with write permissions?

Sure thing.
You just double click the icon (of adf file) and it mounts it normally (as volume DA0). You can use the Icon -> Eject menu to unmount the ADF file as well. |

If you're using DefIcons to mount your disks, you might need to edit ENVARC:Sys/def_adf.info or whatever the default icon is. Just look it up in the DefIcons Preference. If I remember correctly, it has a tooltype which influences the write protection.
If you're mounting the files from the shell, there should be an argument for the write protection. Or you could try to use DAControlGUI from Aminet, which also has a checkbox for the protection. |
