Beneath a Steel sky Amiga

Hi, i asked to Tony Warriner if he has coded the amiga version in ASM or C code. He told me this :

"hi Denis, appols for the movie playing problem. It turned out to be some convoluted compile/linking error (it's about BS5 on PC)

About Steelsky :

"Steel Sky was coded by me in 68000 assembler, and then ported to 8080 by Rev co-founder Dave Sykes. We never really had the resources, or the tools, to write such a big game, so it was pretty hard one to finish. Twenty years ago now…"

Would be nice to add to HOL abime

So this would mean that the Amiga version was the "original release" (as in coded first) and the DOS version a conversion?

That's pretty interesting.

I'll wait a bit to see if people have other things to add on the matter and then put something in the entry.

M'kay Unless someone objects with different information, I guess it's safe to assume the CD(32) version is also an Amiga original.
