[not very important] Missing random friend in the profile friends box

I have weird issue with the Friends box that is displayed in the user profile (the one that shows up to 6 friends): it only displays 2 of my 3 friends and the 2nd friend changes randomly.

I have had only 4 friends on EAB (and no, this is not a request for more of them ), which are still listed when I click on "Edit Your Friends List". (see attached picture).
Sensi is no longer a friend since he decided to delete all his friends after the potato incident I believe.

Of the 3 other friends, prowler is always displayed (that's what I call a true friend ).
However, only one of the two others are displayed and it changes randomly
It sometimes gives very weird things as can be seen on the second attached picture.


I don't check my profile often, therefore it could be an old issue.
Still, I have the feeling it started when Sensi decided to delete his friends (no problem with that Sensi, I can understand why you did that).


Not sure if it is an EAB-specific problem or a bug in vBulletin and as mentioned in the title, it is not really important but I think it is worth being mentioned.

I also have a problem with Friends listed in my user profile.

I Have 67 friends on EAB (was 68 until Sensi decided to sever all his friendships). However only 66 are listed - the last, Zambot_3, (alphabetically) is always missing from the list. And yet Zambot_3 does sometimes appear in the randomly-chosen 'box-of-six'!

I'm at a loss to explain this, but it's been happening since Sensi cut and ran.

I get the same thing too - Zetr0 seems to go AWOL from my friends list in my profile when he shouldn't. How odd.

Hi Lilalurl,

Thanks for reporting this bug.
I think it's one internal bug with our current version of vB / EAB.
This should be fixed on a next update

Let me explain my puzzling symptoms

In my 'User Profile' I had 37 friends and lost one but gained another, so it should of stayed at 37, OK. Now, on checking both my friends list and QTY Shown it states 35 but in my Contacts and Friends in my 'User CP' I have 36

Yes. That's what I suspected did it for me too. As soon as I accepted the new friendship request, my missing friend reappeared!
