PPC and Bvision in desktop Amiga

Hello,
I have one question, please.
Is it possible to build a PPC card and a Bvision in a 1200 desktop (without towerization) ?
I know some people did it ....
Thanks
Vincent

The cards will get too hot to work properly. Especially the ram on the bvision and 680x0 processor on the PPC card need to be cooled down but in theory, it's possible.

It IS possible but you may have to modify your Desktop slightly Make sure you get two cooling fans and make two holes in your desktop, one on the upperside left and the other below the PPC Turbo at the trap door so the air can circulate inside the desktop ! This looks horrible, but it can be done

Not quite Just use a AT PSU for your HD and CDRom and a 4,5A A500 PSU for the A1200 with the PPC and BVision, that should work fine ! If not, you really have to attach an AT PSU completely to the A1200 !

Maybe the upper fan can be made to fit and work without actually creating a hole that looks like a hole from the outside. It's your miggy but it sounds like a terrible idea to me. Good luck.

Also to note, is to get the 060 version, as the 060 runs cooler that the 040. I'm not sure how much colder, but my 040/35Mhz in my Amiga has a fan, yet my Blizzard 060/50Mhz doesn't need one. And, even in the cramped desktop case has never had a heat related problem.
