audio swap?

today i tried the advanced amiga analyzer v2.00 benchmark disk (found here on file server).
while audio test i noticed, that audio channels were swapped. left = right and right = left.
so i had to swap audio channels in sound tab in order to get right sound from right channel.
now i wonder: was it only this benchmark or are sound channels wrong everywhere else?
in short: do i have to swap channels everywhere? and swap paula only or also ahi (=both)?

I can't duplicate. Test sounds come from matching speakers.

I'm not sure why but I have experienced several times that Windows swaps left and right.. Then I can do a reboot and they move back again. I've had it on my work PC several times, and the last week I've had the same problem with my home PC.

So check that it is indeed WinUAE and not all sounds in Windows that have swapped channels.

after observing a while: my usb headset tends to swap audio channels. no idea why.
fortunately don't have to reboot. just need to pull it from usb port and plug it back in.
after that, audio channels are available in correct order again (for some limited time)...

also have absolutely no idea how long this issue persists already, never noticed it...
only noticed while testing analyzer tool, showing what audio should be left/right.

fortunately i did not move to this crappy w10, i'm still using windows 7.
so i'm able to exclude that possibility as source of audio swap problem.

Never happened but I haven't used analog headsets anymore. (one USB for testing)

Probably sound driver trying to be too intelligent and guesses something wrong. Is this some onboard realtek sound chip? If mainboard manufacturer does not have updated driver, try realtek's driver, they usually work and are more up to date.

all onboard sound is disabled/not present at all since i installed a nvidia geforce gtx 660ti,
about two years ago, it seems that this graphics card wants to be a sound card as well...
its driver messed up or uninstalled all audio. one and only audio left is available from hdmi.
even steremix gone. that's why i need to use usb headphones to be able to hear anything.

since about the same time i'm also unable to record anything using winuae record feature.
complete hang if i activate that. seems that the new geforce also hates recording videos.
