Well, if you never installed Genesis, Genesis will be missing, of course. :-/

Those files on your system were left over from installing an older version of BB3&4 which assumed Genesis was present, and can be safely deleted.

No, it is part of the "Internet Software" option in the OS3.9 installer.

as i remember on os3.9 setup i took everything without looking that precicely what was going to be installed...
there are also aweb and amigamail in internet folder, so i assume i must have taken everything during setup.
there are also plenty of subfolders inside genesis folder (such as bin, doc, config, db, defs, graphics, home...)
all these folders contain files so i assume, installation of genesis must actually have taken place at some point...

The OP says FBlit is no longer needed with BB4 but when I installed FBlit after BB4 I get about 500kb extra free chip memory

do you have installed the graphics.library 40.25b8?
in the shell: version graphics.library

i was about to give it a test but i cannpt find this lib in the combined boingbag 3&4.

foul lists 40.25b8 and 40.26beta3 on his library page.
--> 40.25b8 seems to have the patches build in, since it corrupts my AZ editor the same way, as FText does

--> 40.26beta3 is differnt, smaller size, does not have the patches build in, i guess.

what i cannot find is the wizard.library 45.1.

graphics.library and wizard.library are not part of BB3&4 anymore. IIRC graphics.library at least was causing some issues.

The OP is out of date, it is better to look at http://amigan.1emu.net/releases/BoingBags3&4.readme

just installed latest version 1.33 (obviously i missed 1.32, because my last installed version was 1.31 from december).
i didn't let the installer replace startup-sequence & user-startup as i didn't see anything different to shown examples.
so nothing changed in these files since 1.31? what about fblit mentioned above? should i grab and install it?
should i do the same for wizard.library 45.1? installed version of wizard.library is 42.100, bb3/4 up to date.

Changes between V1.32 and V1.33:
* Updated Execute from 44.5 to 45.15.
* Updated workbench.library from 45.136 to 45.137.
* Updated SortIcons.rexx from 1.0 to 2.0.
* Updated Tools/BenchTrash from 1.75 to 1.76.3.
* Added Polish versions of various components.

A big thanks to Minuous for the great BB3&BB4! I'm now trying to download the latest version but the domain 1emu.net is not active since 4/4-2017, so its only some days. Just want to check it?

iffparse.libray 42.2 included in BoingBag 4 have a bug.

DeluxePaint 4.5, 5 and 5.2 can't load and can't save any IFF files. PPaint yes.

with 40.1 works fine.

Anyone can confirm this?
