I changed the ratio with the options situated in filters...
Toni would it be possible to have access to all the resolution listed to garantie the best aspect ratio even on 16/9 screens ?

It had nothing to do with aspect ratio, any resolution with width > 1280 failed to work. (there was limit of 1280, not sure why but it has been there for years.. display code supports up to 2048 currently)

Better bug reports next time, please

hehe thank you for your reply and sorry for my english
I just did some screen capture from winuae 1.2 and winuae 1.3 with the very same configuration
maybe picture will talk more than my bad english

All I try to do is to have a 16/9 resolution in full screen with WinUAE
With winuae 1.2 I have two 16/9 resolutions so on my screen I have a good visual aspect ratio. I can use the resolution 1920 *1200 or 1680 1050.
But with WinUAE 1.3 they are still mentionned in the panel but I can t save them in a configuration file and even when I try to start a full screen emulation I have an error message saying
"The selected screen mode can't be displayed in a window, because the desktop is too small for the specified window size. Switching to full-screen display"
So I clik ok and the message keeps coming back...
I hope it's more clear and it helps

No, I meant the bug was simple: if width > 1280 = failure.

<=1280 wide 16:9 modes will work fine

Nothing to do with aspect ratios, you said "all the 16/9 resolution" and thats not true

I am afraid it's me again
So here are the resolution I get and if they are under 1280 they stretch or crop the picture...
an exemple in 1024*768 with the latest Nvidia driver.

ADD: I use openGL filter for performance. I tried Direct 3D but WinUAE freeze

Anyway I can get a good result with the parameters in filters, I just though it was good to mention we could use high resolution in WinUAE 1.2 but not anymore in WinUAE 1.3
