Uknown CD32 addon ?
Looking for unknown (or maybe not) CD32 addon. It was used CD32 expansion slot, basically has only 2 ports - RGB and floppy. Anyone knows who produce this and what is exact name of this expansion.

I was simplier in design, only two ports, no additional hardware. As far I remember it fits CD32 back slot perfectly.

I'd be interested to know what it was if you find out.
I've only ever seen SX1, SX32, SX32 MKII, SX32 PRO, CD32 PROMODULE, CD32fWSI (The analogic disk drive thingy) |

You could try looking on http://www.amiga-hardware.com/ or http://amiga.resource.cx/ for it

There exists another very similar device made by HDP Electronics which is also a Polish company. It's a little bit more advanced since it's equipped with parallel port and hard disk interface.

Time to submit a picture of the unit to Amiga Hardware Database, perhaps? This will ease the life of the other few owners of that rare expansion.

Solder wires directly to the edge connector?? Or to TP9?
The signals are unbuffered / amplified so they may look a bit dark depending on your TV. You can always add an amplifier circuit http://www.mmmonkey.co.uk/console/ni...g-booster1.htm Last edited by alexh; 04 November 2009 at 12:13. |

I prefer clean estetic solution. Of course if not buy any card than I consider buying edge connector and make my own rgb mod. I'm just not too good insoldering

Good luck finding the CD32 edge connector for a decent price.
You really will need luck, believe me. |
