If by "donating to HOL" you mean me uploading them somewhere for you, then yes, we are donating them to HOL!

Please be aware though, that this stuff is going to be *BIG*. Everything will be scanned at 300dpi. Hopefully as time goes on, the space required to store them will be less of a problem...
Thanks. Oh, and I'll be more than happy to do the grunge work of downloading rather than you having to upload, if it will make the process any easier. I know you are very busy with CAPS stuff.

And I scan all of my boxes at big 300dpi, too. For HOL, we scale the final down to 640 pixels wide, but having the original 300dpi version is like having a master copy for whatever purpose may extend in the future (ie, if typical desktop resolutions in the future become 2048x1536 and everybody goes broadband, we can re-master a larger version).

I got

When I was in the US .. I got Lords Of Time, fully boxed and sealed.
I had copies of that.. and a friend who played it alot said it looks like there`s something missing from the game, like a demo or beta.. so when I saw it on Ebay I bid and got it.. just to see if that boxed version was any different to the versions on the net..

I shall find out soon

Great! Sounds like we will be saving each other a bit of work!

We will have to keep each other posted on what is done, what is not etc...

I can clearly remember how i got my copy of Lionheart. I didn't even really play that much on my Amiga anymore, I just bought a PC just to play Indy4 (the old days when LucasArts made me change to another System) and it was just meant as a support for that dying system. Well, it didn't help...

Yup. Let me know when you begin the laborous task of scanning and what's on your list. And if you want my big scans, just lemme know where to up them.

grabbed some hitsquad releases later, none of them where fullprice though.

Nuclear War. It was the perfect game at the time, I didn't get into the RPGs and stuff. Nice to play them now.

last game i can remember being bought full price was syndicate. i'd played the demo so i was pretty keen on it.
last game i BOUGHT was Walker off ebay the other day.

i know i've got heaps of boxed stuff out in my cupboard i should really go through it and see if anythings missing from HOL...

Oh, due to money lack at the time, I should confess that I NEVER bought original games in full price! But fortunately, I have found LOTS of such stuff in very good condition, searching around some local fleamarkets! I now have about 70-80 originals, bought for around 1-2 euros each! I think the last one that I got this way, was Agony
