Kang Fu CD32 - Revisited

In an old thread of mine about CD32 compatibility rlake added that this game did not work.

http://eab.abime.net/showpost.php?p=36067&postcount=82

Having gone through the CD32 TOSEC collection at the weekend I discovered that this is still the case.

Has anyone got this game too work or tested it on a real CD32 to see if it works?

I have tried increasing the memory which causes the game to reset at the point it would normally complain about "not enough memory".

Looking at the reviews of the game I'd be inclined to think it is more a problem with the game as it appears to be shit than WinUAE.

This game struggles on a real CD32 too.

It says in the manual to boot without the CD in the drive, then wait for the CD32 animation to completely finish, then put the disk in. (or something very similar)

It's appalling anyway!

Ah yes, I remember reading about that "trick" when I bought a CD32 when they first came out.

Well let Andy Smith have a say about this, in his inimitable way of saying things:

"Look at that bloke with the gun! LOOK AT HIM! I don't know about you but this is the kind of bloke with a gun drawing that I'd do on Maths rough books when I was about 11."

Horrible loading times, the CD32 screen alone takes 22 seconds to bugger off!
And what a horrible game!
Thanks to whoever suffered to make this video
