Green Beret level 2 boss is made of several waves of 1 soldier + 3 dogs attacking you. Dogs attack first and are the most dangerous, but you can also be killed by the master if you suck.

No earlier examples (sorry) but Doom Eternal's Marauder (already a massively tough nut to crack) sics his spectral dog on you if you hit his shield with your weapons, and even if you don't.
