Evil grin A Challenge!

The challenge is:

To achieve the highest possible score in 1 single match of Speedball 2.

The rules:
Single player league match. FIRST match of the season and you can use your starting money however you wish.
At the end of the match you must prove your score by using the save-state of the latest WinUAE and uploading it to the zone or posting a link here.

The challenge lasts for 1 week.

I thought of this idea because I used to kick ass at SB2 and thought Id be able to achieve a good score.......just had a go at it.....:gulp
Dont think Ill be winning

GET READY

Damn, damn, damn. Damn. Made a bigass statement of intent, and nuthin. Sorry, Dastardly. Completely forgot. Been really short on free time this week.

Any possibility of a deadline extension, please, Mr Speedball 2 King? Go on, make things interesting.

and give up my title? NO WAY MAN! I AM THE KING MWAHAHA!

Go on to challenge#2 for a chance to be the master of Turrican 2.

BTW I may re-issue the SB2 challenge in the future for any chumps that wanna take my crown.

Hey you thread idea thief!

Im sure a SWOS challenge would be popular but Im not sure how you would do it. (total # of goals?)
Unfortunately I wont be able to enter because of my stupid keyboard problem! Is there such a thing as an Amiga>PC joystick interface cable?

I know not all the challenges I do will be popular for everyone (e.g SB2) but you might like the next one.

Yes.
http://www.arcadecontrols.com/Mirror...l.com/dpadpro/

Atari/SMS is for C64/Amiga/etc joysticks
You can try the others if you want to hook up a different type
You need a parallel port free to take advantage of this interface (On my computer, the parallel port needs to be set to Simple in the bios. Enhanced modes don't work for this cable)

You can use the Directpad Pro drivers, although they don't work for me (didn't work on 2k, and don't work on XP)
I use PPJoy http://www.geocities.com/deonvdw/PPJoy.htm which works great. On this same page, there's a couple of links to some other drivers

In the end, the cable cost around $10 AUS
