Emulating mouse on amiga port 2 for x86 bridgeboard using game controller

So is there a reason why the mouse vertical and horizontal cannot be remapped? I have a logitec wingman rumblepad which has 1 Dpad, 2 analog sticks and 8 buttons. My intention was to remap a mouse 2 control from the analog stick to the Dpad, since using the analog stick as a mouse in the x86 bridgeboard is rather precarious and random. It is uncontrollable. However the analog assignments can not be disabled at all it seems. Remap options for the analog pad is greyed out both on game ports tab and inputs tab. I can assign "mouse2 up"...ect to the Dpad manually, but they fight with my analog stick which throws the curser all over the place.

Ok I think i figured it out. Had to pick 'default' instead of assigning it to emulate a mouse. However now the mouse curser just keeps gliding after i let off the dpad.. lol I don't know how to change that.

So setting it to "CDTV Mouse" seems to work when i manually assign the hat buttons further down the buttons list.

Would it be possible to implement a mouse being assigned directly to the bridge-board like can be done on real hardware though an extra serial port?

x86 bridgeboard emulation supports serial or PS/2 mouse (Expansions -> x86 bridgeboard expansions -> x86 bridgeboard mouse)

It shares Amiga mouse or joystick port events because this is very low priority feature.
