hardest title of this round. A tiny public domain game on the Amiga, not visible in the Amiga game databases like lemonamiga or hall of light. There's not even screenshots - I had to reconstruct the fragment you see here from the only existing low-res video clip.
With all my hints, eight people managed to find it (congrats, double points!). But honestly - how did you find it?? Actually played it back in the day, or did you do some elaborate research?

other suggestions: The Flying Penis Circus!

@haynor666: Don't be mad, these riddles are not easy... especially not the October quiz which you will get in a few minutes.
At least your item choice worked out well for you!

October Quiz - Sound FX #3

Feared by some, celebrated by more: It's time for the extra-elaborate version of my series... the sound FX quiz!

So then, in its third installment... for 40 years video games have been beeping and ringing into our ears - do you think some of these sounds and words stuck with you? Time to find out!

As I can't post sound effects in this forum (the picture below is just a dummy), you can find the quiz at the URL below. The form to enter your answers can be found by clicking the "click to join" button.

Here is the quiz: www.retrogamequiz.com

Deadline is Wednesday the 31st of October.

And don't forget: Sure this is ridiculously difficult, often even harder than the image riddles. But remember that's the case for everyone, so please don't be discouraged and join in.

October Quiz - Clues #1

"Hey! Listen!", "Now let's take a look...", "50.000 people used to live here..." and then just a row full of laughter?! - that's the October sound quiz for you. How are you getting on so far?

The average score is just shy of six points (oh dear!) and so far we are 25 people (two from here). The number one spot is currently tied between the Multimediaxis and English Amiga Board - but both still have less than half of the points.

Think we can do more? I hope so! So far there's only three titles nobody found out (22,23,24), but numbers for the others are still really low. Here are some clues:

1) The Sounds 6, 13, 19, 21 and 22 are from the intros of their games.

2) The games 2, 4, 6, 7, 16, 17 and 25 are played from the first person perspective.

3) Number 23 and 24 are succesful MMOs.

4) Titles 1, 5, 12 and 14 are from Nintendo.

5) Game 8 is based on a disney license.

So, did that help? :P

Here is the quiz: http://www.retrogamequiz.com

Deadline is Wednesday the 31st of October.

October Quiz - Clues #2

Yesterday I sent a link to this sound quiz to a friend right next to me, who then proceeded to click through all 25 fields on a full bus. *eyeroll* Be responsible, do the quiz when you're alone or use headphones!

Average score went up slightly, now at 6 points for 37 people in total (two from here). The MMX Forum had to hand over leadership to the english Amiga board this week - so far there are only five candidates who broke the 10-points-barrier, and none of them by a lot.

Keep on trying - Only game 22 has not been guessed at all. Here are some clues again:

1) In all three Sound FX riddles there has not been a game used twice. You can check previous quizzes with the "previous" buttons.

2) However, the titles 1, 11 and 17 are from game series where a different (older!) part had already been used in a previous sound quiz.

3) Game 4 puts you in a procedurally generated 3D world.

4) Title number 7 has you fight a lot of zombies.

5) Games 10, 16, 19 and 20 have been developed for or by Sega, and have all been released on the Dreamcast.

Deadline is Wednesday October 31st.

Greeting from Multimediaxis:
Quite good ears you seem to have there, Nobby. ^^
And I though I would wing it with barely about half of them already xD
