Diropus question.
Might be a stupid question, but is there anyway to mark the same files on the right as I have selected on the left?
Let me explain. When updating my WHDload collection, I mark the new folders on the left to copy to the right. Usually it asks if I want to overwrite because its an updated game and not a new one. If I just select "All" there to overwrite everything, I might be left with old files in the destination dir if they had been removed from the new version. So what I would like to do is select all new games on the left and have them being selected on the right as well, so I can delete them all first without finding them and selecting them manually. I know I can do this in a shell using various sync commands but I'd very much like to do it directly in diropus =) Thanks! Last edited by Turran; 19 September 2018 at 09:58. |

Different paths but source and target have the same directory name?
Some (ARexx) scripting should do the job but it is easier to use a sync command like BackUp instead. Just add a button, menu entry or hotkey with the sync command. On the other hand if the source and destination directories are known then a script what uses the sync command can do the job automatically. You can start the script from DOpus if you like. |

This archive contains a bunch of ARexx scripts that expand Opus 4:
http://aminet.net/package/util/dopus/DOpus4Plus "SelectSameName" should do what you need, make sure you read the documentation on how to set it up and what libraries it requires. |

Tried that, thanks. Only seems to work on files and not folders through. If I mark a folder with its corresponding .info file, it only marks the .info file on the right. |
