Amiga 3000 almost ok
Hi,
I have (another) 3000 issue. Passes ALL tests fine with diagrom. Black screen on 3.1 rom... Suggestions? |

Sell it to me?
 What version motherboard? Wrong ROM chip? (Perhaps DiagROM is too small to be affected?) Either buy correct ROM or use ROM TOWER? |

Do you have stock ROMs to try? Are you positive, the ROMs you are trying to use are indeed for A3000 and are working?
I remember A3000 being very picky about ROMs due to requiring ROM tower or having incorrect ROM timings (check jumpers 151 and 152). Also, make sure it is not set up for A500/2000 ROMs (jumpers 180/181). In addition, using CPU board with incorrectly set clock jumpers may produce similar symptoms. |
