When I look back with unbiased eyes, Nintendo and Microsoft are tho only ones to get the controllers right.

I too prefer the first version of the saturn controllers... they have a nice solid feel and the D-pad was very comfortable

Microsoft could never get the D-pad right! But the Snes controller was excellent for Street Fighter 2, Killer instinct and pretty much all Snes games

Great read! Still love my intellivision and the overlays though. Utopia is a fantastic game and only possible in 1980 on a system with those kind of controllers.
