In particular, I remember at a certain stage the screen came up asking to swap disks, with a countdown timer saying you have X seconds to change the disk. If you swapped in time, all was good, but if you didn't, a big weight fell on a poor wheelchair user. But then you had all the time you wanted to swap disks |

I'd say Persian Gulf Inferno was pretty offensive back in the day. I think it was released around the time when the Second Persian Gulf War came around and there was lots of trouble between the U.S. and states like Libya and Iran. There was even a re-release ofthe game that renamed it "North Sea Inferno", probably to make it more generic and less offending.
Oh, and that Franchi SPAS-12 shotgun sound was just awesome. Desert Strike was also controversial here in Germany Also there was Operation Thunderbolt, where you had to drive around a middle-eastern city street and gun down hundreds of arab terrorists. I think back then I actually wrote on the disk "Arabs fall down from the car hood" because sometimes two enemies jumped right down on the hood, but since you were continually srapying the screen with machinegun fire they got hit immediately and didn''t even land on the hoodm, they just sorta "fell through" in fron of the screen. Pretty funny actually |

well according to Studio Peyo, the most offensive game of XXI century is Smurf Rescue. They are probably hunting for evildoers responsible for Smurf Hunt PD.

This thread reminds me of a game idea that i had as a teenager. Naturally I didnt quite understand how offending the game would be to some people, but simply thought it as "funny", but it was supposed to be point n click adventure with three characters to control, and games name had been "The fat, the blind, and a nigger".
Although I many times feel sad I didnt make games on those days, every now and then i remember something that really makes it seem good i didnt get much done those days. |

In Guardians of the Hood enemy can pick up homeless to throw at you. You can attack old woman with small kid and prostitute which are not your opponents. Game early title was Pit Fighter 2.

I remember a long time ago there was a news report on TV about a game where you had neo-nazis going around killing gay people. Then they showed the computer it was played on, lo and behold, it was an A500. x_x I don't know the name of the game, tho. It was probably some obscure amateur made game made by neo-nazis.
