You know when you want to see the window that is behind a window?
So you need to move it or click the top right corner? Well this eliminates that and the windows work like regular ms windows. You can click on the window or the scroll bar of that window and it will come to the front |

Having the ability to differentiate active vs foreground is useful for e.g. copy-paste between windows. What's the purpose of this thread anyway ? |

I also use FKey to add a keyboard shortcut to cycle between windows.

Just a small OT since we are talking about windows...
Does anyone know how is called the program that adds to the windows the "update" and the "show all files" button used in amigasys? Last edited by liviux76; 19 May 2016 at 21:27. |

Also MultiCX does this. And agreed on someone opening a thread with no description, especially when you click the link and the fucking software has no description either!! Why do people upload stuff to Aminet without describing it? |

For update you just need AutoUpdateWB.
The show all files button is handy though |

I haven't tried AmigaSYS, but I think the answer lies in SYS:WBStartup.

Found it!
It is powerWB. It isn't in the WBStartup folder, though, there is the following line in S:AmigaSYSU-startup run >nil: Sys:Tools/Commodities/PowerWB Thanks for the hint! |

Yes, I've tried all the versions I've found without success on 3.9... it's a pity since PowerWB is very nice and efficient... unfortunately the author isn't working on it anymore...
