UK : Gentleshaw (need transport)
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AMIGA-flo...t/274147120730
I've been trying my hardest to find a way to bid and be able to find a way to collect this auction. I have "home" problems, which stops me from being able to travel this far. Is there is anyone interested / and can drive ... this looks like a nice project Happy to share the costs with anyone... happy to help out with imaging. |

If I win the bid, would there be anyway for you to get the disks to me to image (based in Mansfield) ... or would you like to image them -- can you use diskripper? Happy for you to have the disks after / pay for petrol. I'd like to get these / image and share back out.

Will see what I can do, have you used diskripper -- only piece of software I trust to fully rip disks?

just run it via WinUAE looks easy enough. I would love to give back something to all Amigans out there. I love getting collections even if there is only 1 disk outta thousands, that you aint got, means a lot to me.

yeah its great for recovering those difficult bad sectors / marks bad sectors on the ADF if it wasnt recoverable.
Assume you have KS2 / Hard drive / something to then be able to transfer to PC? Just want to make sure you can easily do this from your Amiga. |

Nope I did it when there was 4 seconds left ... enough to confirm thats what I wanted to bid. Think he must have put in a bid ... then anyone who bids, his higher bid wins
I tried ... |

Nice of you to attempt this @sTe . I wonder if winning bid was a forum user!?
I have a lot of disks that could do with imaging. There was an Atari ST collection I gave to a friend... who had a Kryoflux but I don't even think the imaging has even started lol. Some of these appear to have various viruses blatantly written on the top! I wonder whether the chaps I bought the entire lot (enough to fill the whole boot of hatchback) were hackers or part of the scene at some point... The disks are no longer with me. But if they ever make their way back to me, I know who to pass on to lol. |

I've at least asked the seller to pass on my details. Hopefully they are a huge Amiga fan / wish to preserve the disks ... then again, i might wake up and it was all a dream Wished i'd reached out earlier ... knowing I had a potential, I should have bid a lot higher aghhhh well.
Yeah reach out if you get the disks, I have a Kryoflux ... testing a few other flux devices... |
