A question

Probably a stupid one but here it comes:

Assume you have the original of a game but other materials are not complete. Box or manual or maybe both are missing. Won't you be releasing the .ipf image then?

Not right away, no.

As there are so many games to do, if we are missing something for one game, it just means it will be lower priority than games we *do* have everything for. So we would wait to "prepare it for release" until the other items are found.

If the game is really rare, or we think there is small chance of getting the missing items, then we will post it up on the wanted page.

When we get to a point where we are releasing games "as they are found" because we have done all the games we have access to, then we will probably release it and then release an "update" pack if/when it is found after that.

If the game is scanned, we have a 100% version dumped, and everything is relying on the missing item(s) being found we will probably spend much more effort on finding them.

But the point is, as there is soooo much to do, we won't spend time on something that we do not have a complete version of. Sound fair enough?

Sounds quite fair Thank you.

I admit CAPS' first impression wasn't great on me since the first release, a pathetic game named wizard warz was in a huge archive for the sides of the box were so important to include (sorry hehe) I sense my view is shifting now as CAPS releases such games that their preservation makes sense and .ipf images can be used for WHDLoad.

I am eagerly awaiting the tool to transfer images back to real Amiga disks.
