How ?
There is no ACL mode.

Graphics are in 32bits, for a 8 colors screens it means that all graphics need to be re-draw by hand

i was joking ... i already tryed to convert some 32 bits gfx to 16/32 Colors for another own project .. not really an easy job :\

i'm not very good on gfx .. maybe better on sfx... but sure not your level

That's a super cool conversion Gibs

How about also trying one of the games that had two screens?

My all time favourite, played it soooo much as a kid, was Donkey Kong II

Scramble is one of my favorite arcade game...
Spent lot of money in it but I don't regret

Parachute is done... and with the watch
Maybe it's interesting to add highscore feature ?
