Populous the Beginning!
We had 1 and 2 and I bet that 'the beginning' was earmarked for us at one stage? I still play it today on my PeeCee! |

What? No Red Alert? It's more fun than C&C you know. :\
Has anyone mentioned Diablo yet? Seemed like a pretty fitting game for the Amiga, didn't it? All that blood and darkness... |

You mean this?
How about: - Dizzy 1? The later Dizzies were ported. - Impossible Mission 1? - Eagle Empire / Falcons / Phoenix. (the sequel, Mega Phoenix (available on Amiga), wasn't too good) - The Eidolon. The c64 version "ran" at about 2 FPS. - Jumpman (& Jumpman Junior). Great gameplay; could have used some improved GFX. - Castle Wolfenstein (2D). I know there's a PD version but it's an exact clone. Updated GFX / sound would've been nice. Last edited by pterry; 28 April 2009 at 06:55. Reason: add Wolfenstein |

I think Impossible Mission is mini/hidden game in Impossible Mission 2025. I found in TOSEC game titled "Jumpman Junior" but I don't know if it's same game.

Indeed it appears as if Diablo has been mentioned. Thank you for enlightening me, Druid. XD
But obviously there's a million and one games that Amiga-users would have loved to play on their platform of choice, back in the day. ( and today too, I would say. ) |

back then there was a few games that bothered me, that they was not made available for amiga, especially for the aga amiga, games like DOTT, X-Wing and one of my favorite games of all time Lands of Lore, allso I allways feel kinda pissed of, when i play such second rate conversions as r-type and ghouls'n ghosts, hell even bubble bobble feels like it's just a rushed job, I mean just look at rainbow islands, sure it misses a level, but who cares, its a topnotch job and I allways liked the amiga version the best, thats how it should have been done.....sigh!! Still the above named pc games, could easy have been done and might even have helped pushing some 030 cards into more machines and making harddisks a reqirement back then, which should have been inside the a1200 in first place imho

I second that of course, uses more colors, dress with 3 different colors in the same dress(Goal! only uses 2 colors in the same dress),shot more powerful and more efect, the ball has animation and the ball bounces when it collides with a wall like in KO2.But the modern version because the original(1994) is extremely aggressive with a lot of red cards
