Big grin Which NEWER Amiga game is the best ?

Well, I consider this Poll fitting best in Amiga Scene, cause it isn´t Nostalgic or Retro If any Mod think, it belongs anywhere else, MOVE IT

This is about the best NEWER Amiga game. Me personally got an A1200 with 50 Mhz. so I cannot test e.g. Heretic II but I bought NAPALM, PAYBACK and other stuff ...... btw. I voted for NAPALM (top) but PAYBACK is near behind it .....

Yep. I voted Napalm too. That game is fantastic
Payback I didn't like much. It just wasn't fun
Bubble Heroes I felt like voting for because it's simple and very playable
Heretic 2 I can't run, but I hate the game anyway

Do they all run under uae?

Heretic 2 is unlikely to work under WinUAE
Nightlong will work under WinUAE if you have the right version (not the PPC version)

The rest should be fine, although I don't own them all so I don't know

I have Napalm but I think some of the lzx files are corrupt so I never could installed properly and run the game.

How about Foundation? Its also new. Is it a good game?

You're obviously using a pirated version Xorex. If you bought the game like a good little boy, the files would be fine . But I'm not here to criticise, so I'll shut my mouth now

I don't like Foundation much. If you were into Settlers, then I guess you'd like it

Samurai: There's new Amiga games!??!

@s4murai

hmm, yep, get back to school

@XoreX

Well, ok Foundation is kinda "new", it´s a mixture out of SETTLERS and AGE OF EMPIRE, think that fits best to describe it

btw. all of the games listed above run on WinUAE (sometimes with little tricks) except Heretic II as it needs a PPC Processor Anyway, to get Payback to work in WinUAE you must set up a HDF image, it will crash if you have your harddrive files installed as a Dir on a Fat Partition ....

Virtual Ball Fighters is very unfun if you ask me
Tales Of Heaven would've been cool, but it's pretty slow on my 030.

How fast is Wipeout 2097?

Wow! Is that really Wipeout 2097 running on an Amiga? At how many frames per second does this game run?

Generally, I have never seen these next-gen games in real life. I only know them from static screenshots from various magazines.
I know Tales from Heaven, a Mario 64 wannabee, from the last issue of Amiga Format. It did not look that great but any new Amiga game is welcome these days.
