What about applications?

What sort of issues? What's wrong with preserving applications?

Applications seemed to have a shelf-life (well, sort of...) at the time of writing that and the latest/greatest Amiga company was just on the verge of a... you get the picture.

Since in reality nothing much has happened to any of those things preserving applications may be a possibility.
