I use an Apollo 040/33 in my A1200 with 32MB Fast RAM. Works great, shame about the problems with some WHDLoad games though...

2x 68040 (A4000)
1x 68060 (A4000) 2x 68000 (A500) Edit: I totally forgot my good old A1000 so that's 1 68000 more. And one of the A4000's will get an 060 as soon as my CS MKII arrives. Last edited by StingRay; 06 July 2008 at 13:21. |

why the hell some of us have lots of amigas? I don't undestand
what's the point to have 8xA1200 ? I don't know if here there are so millionaires or so fanatics I'm humble like Graham...only A1200+ apollo 1240/40mhz +32mb but the apollo board is damaged and doesn't works...so I never use the A1200 because it's not expanded at the moment.....only winuae |

a love of hardware should NEVER be questioned. ironically i put the 030 down, as its the one i use the most, but there are more of other processors in this house, mostly on dead or dismantled amigas though. Only one 040 too i think though, but there are a couple of 68030EC's in some dodgy A4000's, but it's mostly 68020/68000s knocking about (2 a1200 boards, 3 CD32s, 2 A500s 2 A600s) |

Hmmm, lets see:
2 x a4000 motherboards for spares (no cpus attached at the moment) and 2 x a1200 motherboards for spares: both have 68020s (14 MHz) on them - do they count? Probably not, as they are not in use. 1 x 68ec030 @ 25MHz (A4020 - stock A4K cpu, not currently in use) 1 x 68040 @ 40MHz (WarpEngine - not currently in use) 1 x 68040 @ 40MHz } (CSmkII - not working). 1 x 68040 @ 40MHz } 1 x 604e @ 200MHz } (CSPPC - not working). 1 x 68060 @ 50MHz (Blizzard 1260) 1 x 68060 @ 50MHz (CSmk3 - just arrived this morning, may have a fault (not tested yet), but I suspect that it has been flashed with the wrong ROM image. Expected to be installed into my spare A4Kt once working) 1 x 68060 @ 50MHz } 1 x 604e @ 233MHz } (CSPPC in use on A4Kt) 1 x 68060 @ 50MHz } 1 x 604e @ 233MHz } (CSPPC for sale on Fleabay at the moment) 1 x 68060 @ 50MHz (spare ) Total: 2 x 68ec020 @ 14MHz 1 x 68ec030 @ 25MHz 3 x 68040 @ 40MHz 5 x 68060 @ 50MHz 1 x 604e @ 200MHz 2 x 604e @ 233MHz I think that's all of them. So what do I vote for? Last edited by Boot_WB; 05 July 2008 at 16:11. Reason: Forgot one. |
