games which should have a cdtv or cd32 version ?

Hi guys,
which games should have been really better on cd32 or cdtv ? And why ?
1. Unreal : Because you can play the 1mb sfx and listen its great music in cdda !!!!

2. Lotus 2 because the lack of music in game is a shame and even more shame the did a cd32 version (lotus trilogy), and what still no music, crazy !!
And they could have use the sfx of cars with cdda music for lotus 1 and 3 but no !!! You don't have this choice !! sfx or music !!! on cd32, crazy !

ps: like you see, you can even list cd32 games but which weren't enough optimized and could have been easily.

Lotus Trilogy and Jaguar XJ220 - fix for both audio and engine sound
YoJoe - add cd32 pad support, buttons for attack, jump, switch weapon left/right, maybe extra button for throwing molotoves
Qwak - add button for jump
Aladdin, Lion King - both should have CD32 version with pad support and nice animations
Alien Breed 3d - just remove code protection
Diggers - game got CD32 version but controls are bad, there should be more like in Extractors
Elfmania - game looks great visually, it should have good cd32 version with pad support
Shadow Fighter - game already have cd32 version, but You know, fighting games should never be played with just one fire button, so full pad support would be welcome
Leander - already great game, but could have some nice AGA-AKIKO enchantment too, like both effects and sound music, more colorful backgrounds images and maybe add some more colors for some other sprites too (Levels 1-5 and 1-6 looks very grey and I do not know why You die when You touch ground, other levels got nice animated watter and here it look static, more like a mud).
Trolls and Oscar - better pad support - add button for jump

that's all for my ideas for fixes for now. I have some more ideas but total re-design game/levels I think is too much/ would be too hard.

You know, many of those games could have button for jump without the CD32. The Amiga supports 2 buttons damn it!

No need for a cd32 for extra buttons. Just needs adaptation for whdload. Dozens of titles already got the treatment. For others use mantis.

And I am afraid you are too humble jotd, but a lot of those games can already support full CD32 controller mappings thanks to CD32Load! Not even a need to modify the slaves with it. GReat for CD32 users or those with A1200/A600 still using FFS.

thanks Akira. Some issues persist to convert up = jump to second button (specially when there are ladders where up doesn't jump but climbs!).

I remember adding 2nd button support for Ghosts'N'Goblins & Toki. Wasn't trivial at all.

So much work with mantis bugs + 2nd button requests... Let's take that one at a time (currently fixing Beast 3 for 2 button joystick & technical talk with Toni & robinsonb5 about how to improve the readjoypad.s source so it works with joysticks & joypads (there are some cases where it doesn't work properly)

Yes I've been following your discussions about detecting pads. Looking forward.

what i expect, it's whdload finally support cdda and could repair some injustice from history... I know that they are working on it.
But i hope they find a way to let anyone just add cdda music even if it's not a cd32 game.Or at least perhaps some slave could support the possibility.
I'm really interested by the cdda support but not only for installing cd32 games but the possibility to enhance some games.

By the way somone know where they are about cdda support ???

ps: thank you for all replies.

I have few more ideas:
Elvira The Arcade Game - add pad support for jump button, cast spell, switch spell. If it was possible add feature to switch collected weapons, originally if You pick up new weapon it replace old one (for example if You pick strong weapon You do not want to pick up anything else to not lose good one).
Global Gladiators - add pad support, if possible add background images like in megadrive version.
Lollypop - game is good on it's own, but there could be always added pad support for jumping and making photos.
Traps nad Treasures - another good game that could be cool on cd32

My request for Road Rash pad support keeps falling on deaf ears

Basically all games ever made for the CD32 could benefit from a CD32 version.

That's not true, mainly a myth by uneducated folk.

52 of the 160 proper games were straight ports, the other 2/3rds had added extras, be it CD audio, intro, extra levels, upgraded gfx etc

Doesn't mean loads couldn't do with better CD32 pad support, but the fact there were lots of CD32 versions, good or bad.
