Forcing max 150kb/sec for HD drive.

I want to do a bunch of ham6, cdxl video converting, and basically, goal is to work on CDTV and it's CD rom speed is approximately 150kb/sec.

Now, I know I could probably create CD image somehow, and load it as a CD in Winua-e, but I want to try different options (res, fps, color variations), and if I could view these files from HD with limited max speed to 150kb, it would make life much easier.

Any ideas... tricks?

Thanks in advance.

It does not exist.

Directory harddrive/UAE HDF runs in separate host thread. It is almost impossible to implement any kind of transfer limits without huge rewrite and make it much slower for normal use case.

It probably would be possible (without too many issues) to support transfer rate limit when using emulated HD controllers.

Thank you Toni.

So, if I create CD image, will the load speed going to be approximately as real cdtv cd rom, or much faster?
(if I load CDTV preset, of course)

Yeah, it should have at least almost correct speed.

CD32 also uses 1x speed as a backwards compatibility feature if inserted CD is for CDTV.
